Another option, when you decide to challenge another member to a battle is you can create your own custom category, such as "Who is making the funniest face?" or "Who has the best looking feet?" Back to Top

A battle record is the ratio of wins to loses you have as a battler on myYearbook. Your record starts at 0-0 until your first battle ends. If you win, your record will now be 1-0. If you lose, your record will become 0-1. Back to Top

Rank is how you measure up against other battlers on myYearbook. We rank the top 100 battlers with the best records overall. You can also filter those results so you see the top 100 battlers in any of your yearbooks, your state, or a specific category. Back to Top

Titles are a measure of how many battles you have won. Everyone starts out as a Featherweight and as you engage in more and more battles and collect more wins, you earn a better title so keep battling!

My Battles is open only to members of myYearbook. From here members can view all of their current, pending and past battles. All details pertaining to a battle can be gathered from here. You can also check in here to see your current battle record, rank and title.

Under Current Battles — you can view all your battles that are currently engaged and the following information about each one:

If you click this link you will find a full view of the Battle including comments, vote tally, and the images.

Who has voted for you
A list of members that have voted for your image. You may find you have more votes then members displayed here, this is because you don’t need to be a member to vote so those other votes came from non-logged in users.

Challenge member to another battle
Click this link to challenge the same member to another battle.

Embed Battle Code
This code can be pasted into your myYearbook or MySpace profiles so you can spread the word about your battle and get more votes.

Under Pending Battles — you can view the following:

Battles You've Received
Any battle request that you have received from an opponent and is waiting for you to accept.

Battles You've Sent
Any challenge that you have sent out to an opponent and is waiting for their acceptance.

Battles Waiting Approval
All battles that are pending approval from the battle administrator.

Random Battles
Any challenge for random battle that you have submitted but that has not yet been paired with another member.

Under Past Battles — you can view all of the battles you have been involved in that have ended. From here you can check on whether you won and how many votes you received. Back to Top

The top battlers are the 100 top ranked battlers. You can view the top battlers overall, or by category or location. Back to Top

Let all your friends know you are in a battle by embedding the battle code on your myYearbook and MySpace profiles. Once your battle is live, you can view it under the Current Battles tab of MyBattles. From here you can grab the embed code or you will also receive a message when your battle starts that will include the code.

You can also tell everyone you know by sending a bulletin on myYearbook and MySpace! View the Battle Details from the Current Battles area and with just one click send out bulletins to all your friends on myYearbook and MySpace. Back to Top

From any page within the Battles section of myYearbook, simply hit the Vote Now button and start voting for your favorites. Back to Top

The easiest way to start a battle is to click "Begin a Battle" at the top of any page in the Battles area of myYearbook. Then, follow these steps:

Select your opponent.
Decide if you want to challenge a friend, a top battler, or leave it to chance and have us randomly pair you with another battler. Next, choose your battle image from one of your profile pics or upload an entirely new image that you think will be a winner. You can caption your image to describe it for voters or intimidate your rival.

Pick a category.
Choose a category for the battle from the drop down menu or create one of your own.

Write a message.
Include a note to your rival if you would like. This will arrive as part of the message when they receive your challenge.

Spread the word.
Let people know about your battle. Tell all your friends to vote for you by submitting bulletins with just one click on myYearbook and MySpace.

Please note: All battles go through an approval process so it will not be immediately available for voting though you will be able to view it in you're Pending Battles area of My Battles. All battles will begin within a few hours; as soon as yours is approved, you will be notified. Back to Top

If you know which friend you would like to challenge, just visit their profile and hit the "Battle Me" link on the left side of their profile. Back to Top

Opponents can be found everywhere on myYearbook. Every member's profile will have a "Battle Me" button located on it. Simply click this link to challenge another member or if you are within the Battles section of myYearbook you can click the "Begin a Battle Now" button located on the top left of most pages. The battle must go through an approval process before it can begin. Please allow a few hours for approval. As soon as your battle has gone live, you will be notified. Any member who uploads nudity or offensive images will have their profile deleted without notification. Back to Top

We notified your opponent via our messaging system when you challenged them however they many need a reminder. If you go into your My Battles area, under the Pending Battles tab you can find this battle waiting under "Challenges You've Sent" and from there you can send them a reminder.

If your opponent has still not responded within a few days, you never know they may have chickened out! Back to Top

It's possible your opponent's profile had to be removed from the myYearbook site. Their removal will not have any affect on your Battle Rank or Record for any past battles. Back to Top
