Animals are human too!

They are not things - they live and breath! How would you like your lost kid to be put to sleep because he or she wasnt claimed quickly enough? Thay are aware of their lives. They have feelings. They are living things and should be treated with dignity and respect! Put yourself in their paws! How do you think you would feel!?
Please do all you can to help save all the living creatures of this world. Love them like you love your children, family and friends! Love them like God loves you!

Why put animals to sleep :(

I was interviewing elementary school kids about what they feel about putting animals to sleep for a club project. And I came across an 8 year old boy who lost his pitbull from Euthanasia just because of its breed (pitbulls are illegal where I live). Do you think they should stop putting animals to sleep for random reasons?

PETA

PETA is a non profit organization of animal rights activists. They boast a vast number of followers(app 2,000,000), and they especially target slaughter houses, fur marketing, scientific testing on animals, mistreatment of dogs, and "disposal" of animals such as beavers that are deemed "pests" on people's property.

They are famous for extreme advertisement, and for undercover research, which involves sending employees into slaughterhouses to video tape and photograph unethical treatment and suffering of the animals. These undercover research assignments have led to multiple cases where legal action has been taken to stop unethical treatment.

They promote a vegan diet, which is often considered extreme, and they promote the idea that animals do not belong to us to wear, eat, or use for scientific research.

One of the largest controversies on their record was the discovery of how many animals they had euthanized over a certain period of time. Being an animal rights group, the discovery greatly harmed the public face of the PETA group. It was blown to gigantic proportions.

In actuality, what PETA does is still a necessary thing. There are extremists on the side of unethical treatment of animals, so it's only natural that SOMEBODY has to do the dirty work of the extremist on the side meant to help animals, if we want to ever make a dent. Green Peace is another organization known for radical action.

Personally? I don't agree that vegan is the only way to go. Just as the wolf is meant to eat the rabbit, we are omnivorous and obviously meant to consume some meat. However, i completely agree with stopping excess trade of fur and other animal products, that are coming from enormous factories. Those factories are too big to be worried about the safety and comfort and health of the animals. Slaughterhouses are inhumane and wasteful. And killing an animal strictly for it's fur/tusks/horns/etc is COMPLETELY unnecessary with today's technology. An example of a PETA discovery was a particular fur factory that was quite literall skinning animals alive. Dogs still flailing that had no skin. That's the sort of extreme mistreatment that PETA targets.

And there are ways to reverse the "damages" a beaver (or other "pest" animal) may do to your property, without killing the animal.

When you are opting to support or not support an organization, you should know absolutely what they stand for. Know their history, know the positive impact that they are making.

animal cruelty is disgusting how can anyone be nasty to animals its sick how would they like it they wouldn't so why treat animals like that im not like that i love all animals

ANIMALS ARE HUMANS TOO

wow actually animals were on this planet or earth whatever you want to call it before humans even became and if you want to think about it in reality cavemen and cavewomen came first humans are warm blooded mammals. Animals have feelings just as we do and if they didnt have any right at all then why to we have animal police and "Animals Rights" think about it we originated as monkeys. If you cant treat animals correctly maybe you should get treated the way you treat animals.

Mutt in a Cage

Everyday, animals go hungry and get abandoned. Now is the time that we should stand up for them! They can not do it alone and deserve so much better in life than to be pushed around, shoved in cages, abandoned, and used for cruel amusement! So take a stand against animal cruelty. STOP THE WOLF SLAUGHTER

Stop the Aerial Slaughter of Wolves


Alright people. Im putting my foot down. For those of you who dont know
what Aerial Slaughter is, its when a plane flys above the land shooting
animals. It is becoming more and more of a crisis. We need to do something
about it. Over the past years. More than 4000 wolves have been killed. You
may think that we cant do anything about it just sitting here, but we can.
Sign this petition to help stop the killing of wolves. Dont mind the date,

SHOULD we rescue animals at all?

I'm an advocate for animal rescue and preventing abuse, but I wanted to see what people in general think about the subject...

I've heard both sides of the debate, I just want to hear opinions and reasoning from all of you. Is it RIGHT to rescue animals? Everyone has seen the ASPCA commercials that almost make you cry and sell your house to help the puppy with one eye, but I don't think a lot of people realize that only 10 percent or less of your actual donation really goes to helping the injured or abused animals. On the other hand, if we rescued ALL the animals, naturally they cause certain problems, ie spreading communicable diseases and over population.

What do you think? Save the animals or let nature runs it's course?
