Ok, so guys seriously, if you stop giving to the homeless all that will do is create an even bigger window for them to do what they have to do to survive*that includes stealing from us and actually robbing people at weapon point*. and yes there is a difference between a homeless person(s) and a bum. A homeless person is one that has simply fallen on hard times and most will go through the necessary motions to better themselves and get back into our world and on their feet. A bum is a person who has fallen on hard times, and chooses to continue living their life this way till they die..mooching and begging society for what they can easily obtian themselves without help, but choose not to because many of which are drunks and drug addicts.

ok. i know this may sound outragous but, please dont give to the homeless cause. You are only hurting them. By donating you are providing a crutch for them to lean on. If they know they willl gwt help from people like you they wont try go become not homeless. They just live off the streets and not pay taxes. It is actually really unfair to the people who have jobs and a house. America is a free country and everybody has a right to not be asked for money on the streets. its really pathetic. Also by donating directly to a hobo..you are are just providing them money for alchohol, cigs or drugs. So please stop donating to the homeless

on oct 9th i wrote an article about helping the homeless. i have gotten only two comments on it. we need to be more aware of whats going on around us. the homeless really needs our help. if we don't help them, no one will. they will just simple die on the streets while others are walking around them or stepping over them.
please,i need your help in getting a national foundation for the homeless started. i cannot do it by my self. please help me.

Hey its Samantha. And i want to tell everyone that you should do maybe at least one good thing or maybe more than one good thing,lets say like help the homeless,because the homeless dont have as much as we do,we should be very thankful for what we have today because think of it there are little homeless children out there in this cruel world,so do what ever you can to help the homeless,because i know that God would love that very much!!

with tomarrow being vetrans day we need to look back and be thankful for those who run to the sounds of the guns. did you know that there over 200,000 homeless vets in america? that number is growing everyday. these men and women need our help . so tomarow if you see a homeless vet say thank you to them . buy them a burger or a coat . you dont have to give them money just try to help them. remember they did not have to go to war for you they chose to .

I just wanted to let everyone in the Central Texas area that I am holding a Charity Drive in Copperas Cove from Nov 16-20. I am doing it all myself and all the donation will go to the Cove House and local churches.
For everyone not in the area I want you to know that one person can make a difference. I held this charity drive last year and collected two truck loads of stuff. I collected everything from clothes and toys to food and blankets.
I was such a rewarding feeling to see the look on peoples faces as I unloaded the trucks. Please everyone do whatever you can to help your community, especially in these hard times.

homlessness is getting to be a serious problem globally.What do you have left when you have Nothing and not even a address to apply for food stamps! I dont care what anyone says,,not all homeless people are drug addicts and criminals hiding from the law,there are children involved in this problem too! It is a fact that people on the streets do not live as long as those who have homes and access to food. Everybody needs to step in and help out.Do you think churches and community programs can do it by themselves?

I've been around the World in my 25 years to see the Riches of poverty AND the Poverty of riches, the power in weakness as well the weakness in power... what there is everywhere is a general lack of value being recognized in EVERYONE living! Would it were (if only we had the insight) we'd see to realize the greatness of potential in each of every person -what is needed are tactfully mediating people with appropriation and managing skills to direct all to their orchestration~ how else is the diversity of Americas various states to be a unity? And if it doesn't work out here the failed experiment shall mean it won't happen anywhere else!
