Do you think those creating the new "recommendations" for mammograms and pap smears have ever known some one affected by breast or cervical cancer? What do you think of the new guidelines, will you follow them? Personally I think they are bs and I'll stick to the old ones, cancer runs in my family one of my aunts has had breast cancer and another has died from cervical cancer...

October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month...
I am a HUGE supporter of Bresat Cancer Awareness.
My mother fought it, and survived. My aunt fought it, and even past a double masectomy, she isn't among the survivors..
Who out there supports Breast Cancer Awareness?
Who is or knows any survivors? Who knows someone who's fought, but didn't make it?

I am so sick of all the Breast Cancer Awareness stuff I'm seeing. Half the stuff you buy is pink & some of the money goes to raising awareness. I'd love to donate to research for a cure for Breast Cancer, but compared to Awareness stuff there's like NOTHING which some of the money goes to researching. :( & I'm sure unless you live under a rock you know Breast Cancer is a problem by now. So seems that it's a waste of money that could be going to finding a cure for it.
Thoughts?

Okie guess as yew may know this post is about breast cancer awareness. Well i have personal experience with this since my mom is curently going through chemo or how ever yew spell it tew remove her cancer. She has aggressive cancer which means it feeds off her hormones. They r currently in the process of killing off her hormones so it cant come back. She is going through alot and we got lucky tew have family tew help with the expences, but some ppl arent that lucky so next time yew see some thing tew support breast cancer HELP OUT!!! Yew could mean the difference in a new way tew help cure and treat patiants and help their families with expences. So do yer part and get out there and help RAISE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS!!

I give my highest props to my friend Theresa Chan for being cancer aware and participating in the walk for the cure today 11/01/09. She needs to be commended for her support.
I would like to request that all who read this please pay a short visit to her profile (especially my friends) and give her a pat on the back for her efforts. And just let me say that if anybody reading this also participated......PROPS TO YOU TOO!

i just fouind out that my grandmother has breast cancer and she doesnt want to quit her jobb but were thinking about just telling and i mean like weve told her to just take it easy if she doesnt want to quit working but she wont...but we told her again and she did so were good now(:

I was nvr one that rlly thought bout cancer. But when i found out that my cousin has breast cancer i got rlly into it. I'd rather have them find a cure for it then loose so many ppl from any kind of cancer. not just breast. I learnd that like 29 ppl get diagnosd with breast cancer a day. thats just way to many. I say if ur a female n any of ur relatives have breast cancer GO GET A MAMAGRAM! even if breast cancer isnt shown in ur family STILL GO GET A MAMAGRAM!
