The goal of "Operation Holiday Cards for US Troops" is to get a greeting card to each service member serving during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom to thank them for their service and let them know we appreciate what they are doing--especially during the holiday season.
TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
1. Simply get a Christmas card(s), you can even use last years left over cards that you won't send out this year and sign them and send them to thanks a soldier for what they have done!
2. Sign the card, place them in the envelope {DO NOT SEAL THE ENVELOPE} (they will be checked to make sure there is nothing political or that there is not any "not-so-nice" language in them.
3. DO NOT PUT POSTAGE ON THE ENVELOPE FOR THE SOLDIERS but you will need to pay postage to send the cards to me so that I can get them where they need to be!! ALL THE CARDS WILL BE BOXED AND MAILED TOGETHER!!
4. ON THE INSIDE OF THE CARD, add a way to contact you so the soldiers can say "THANKS" but remember, not all will be able to say thanks personally but they do thank you!!! You can include a snapshot of you and/or your family so that they can put a face with the name (makes it more personal.)
5. ONLY ADDRESS THE ENVELOPE IF the Chaplain needs to know that the card is for a different faith (i.e. Hanukkah, Kwanza, etc.) Simply write that on "faith" envelope.
6. I need the cards sent to me buy November 19th so that I can get them to the shipping destination.

I'm often asked what I am looking for so I have decided to put some of that on here along with some other useful information...I would like to find a good man (not a perfect man) to pursue a long term relationship, someone to share life with, the good and bad times. There are lots of things you will never know about me except on a personal basis. Sometimes it is easier to tell you what I am not looking for or that I don't in a man than it is to tell you what I am looking for. It seems everytime I meet someone he has some qualities that I really like that I didn't realize I even liked. I don't care for long hair on a man. I'm not talking down the neck long, I'm talking down the back long....I used to say I wouldnt date anyone with hair longer than mine and for the most part that still holds true. I wouldn't ask a man to cut his hair just for me, if he wants to cut it, go for it. I don't like facial piercings at all. I like tattoos if you are not just covered in them. Keep it reasonable!
If you are married or in a commited relationship and looking for a FWB (friend with benefits, for those who don't know) then I am NOT interested in anyway!!!
If you are much more than 10 years older or younger than me, chances are I won't be interested. I'm not looking for a father figure, nor am I looking to raise you like a child. I have NOTHING against a man with kids. I love kids and admire a man who loves his kids...they will always be a package deal with me!!! I have 3 grown kids, two are married with kids of their own so I have 4 of the cutest, sweetest, most precious grandsons you will ever meet. There are occassions where I have met someone from another site and I know who they are and what they look like so I may add them on here without a pic...afterall, it is my decision who I add and who I don't!!!

I don't smoke (anything) nor do I do drugs. I never have and never will...no sense in starting after all these years. I only drink on occassions, doesn't have to be a special occassion, I'm just saying I don't make it a habit (anymore.)
Just because I admired you doesn't mean I am interested, but at the same time, it doesn't mean that I am not. I use the money for causes on this site!!! I like to flirt but again, just because I flirt doesn't mean I am really interested. I think flirting is good for the ego and every one likes to be flirted with. I just know where to draw the line with those I am not really interested in. Pretty much, if I am interested in getting to know you, you will know it.
NEWSFLASH!!! I have a past-Deal with it!!! I can't change my past nor can you! I'm not sure I would want to change my past even if I could. Hind sight is 20/20 and I'm sure we all would have done some things differently if we knew then what we know now. Our past mistakes help in making us who we are today (good or bad.)
Alot of people say they don't want drama, well guess what...Drama is every where!!! Now I don't want someone who creates drama just for the attention!!! Life is full of drama and usually something good will come out of it if you will just give it time. Not every day is going to be perfect for everyone. We just have to make the best of what life throws at us. We just have to remember that God isn't going to put anything on us that we can't handle and if He brings us to it, He will bring us through it!!!
*********Here is a biggie with me...I don't mean to offend anyone with what I am about to say but this is just part of who I am. I have this thing about teeth!!! I don't care if they are your God-given teeth or if they are "store-bought" I just prefer that you have teeth. They dont have to be perfectly straight or white as snow, they just have to be there and they have to be CLEAN!!! I don't like rotten or missing teeth...I understand that there are circumstances where you can't help it and you are in the process of having things taken care of....its those that just don't care that I can't handle!!! If you have "store-bought" teeth please wear them, especialy in pics and when meeting someone for the first time...that's just common courtesy!!!
I may have said some things here that you don't like, maybe you like what you read, either way I am just being honest and being me and that's all I will ever be!!!! Wait til you get to know me personally before you"try" to judge me, maybe you will find some things that really grab your attention!!!
