I run a baseball organization for inner-city kids ranging from 3-years-old to 15, in 6 different age groups. This past season, I coached the team of 10-year-old boys & girls, my son's team of 8 & 9-year-old boys & girls, plus ran the "minor league" program for the 3-to-5-year-old boys & girls. I was also the league official for the age groups of 8 & 9, as well as the 6 & 7, and was an umpire for the league. Our organization took part in the Civil Rights Game on June 20!
Hi, my name is Tyler. I am a Bear Cub and very proud of my Mom, who was a soldier in the Army Reserves for over 22 years, and is my Den Leader. I want to support her fellow soldiers and their families, that are overseas. Please help me to give them something as a token of appreciation for them helping others and our country. You can do this by giving a $40, or $25, donation to Trail's End Popcorn that will be shipped to them.
Here's how you do it. You will have to go online and use the order key code 2278928. While you're there, you can also get popcorn and other tasty snacks to benefit my Cub Scout Troop. Thank you for your support.
God Bless Everyone!
Tyler Villier
P.S. As of October 12, I broke last year's mark of $2600, but still way short of the goal I've set for myself of $5000 by the end of the month. The 3-day holiday weekend was tough and this week, so far, isn't much better! I only have 2 more weeks before the deadline.
UPDATE (10-17-09): There are a series of "Mystery Houses" throughout the Cincinnati area, which we are given clues to each undiscovered one every week. If we find one of them, we get a special prize. Today, I found one! Also, since I am one of the top sellers in the area, I got to camp out at the Cincinnati Zoo Friday night!
The good news is I finally broke the $3000 plateau. The bad news is, I'm not getting any Internet sales to help me reach my goal. I am really disappointed. I am working so hard, and doing such a good job, yet I'm going to come up short.
UPDATE (10-26-09): Passed the $4400, but have to turn in everything on Wednesday. Unless there is a miracle, I will fall just short of my goal. Internet sales have been extended to November 15.
UPDATE (10-31-09): All due respect to Al Michaels, but "Do you believe in miracles? YES!" On the last day of sales, I finished at $5130 - and over my goal! Now, I have to pray that I get enough Internet sales by November 15 to put me in the Top Five in Cincinnati, so that I can get a chance to go to a Reds game and throw out the First Pitch.
