First a little bit more about myself. I am not the typical male that most women seem to think they will find on the internet (or in real life for that fact because it's just as easy to lie in person as on here). In fact, I just read the other day that the average person (male or female) lies something like 5 to 14 times in a 10 minute conversation. Gives us guys something to be cautious about as well, eh? LOL. On with the story. I am laid back (not lazy), totally non-jealous, sometimes conservative, sometimes not, extremely shy, and as you can see by my pic...nothing to get excited about. I would much rather stay at home and watch a movie or two with you (or a theater) than go out and party. Those days are long gone for me. I also love jig-saw puzzles, model rockets, yard sales, flea markets, and collecting just about anything. I wouldnt mind going out on occasion, maybe once or twice a month, or over to a friends house. I do not and will not dress up to go anywhere except something like a wedding, funeral, graduation, etc. I do not like eating out anywhere fancy where I would have to dress up. I think that all stems from 12 years in private schools and 11 years in the Coast Guard almost always in a dress shirt and tie. At one time in my life I was very active. Golf, hiking, tennis, jogging, track, bowling, badmitton, playing drums. Due to health reasons I have had to stop all of this, but, I am proud to say, I have worked since the age of 13 and except for a week or two between switching careers, I have never been unemployed. I have been working 20 years now in my present career with only a handfull of missed days. I dont even take vacations. I currently smoke but I think this is my last weekend. If you smoke, thats fine. If you dont, I wont be much longer. It has become too expensive. Unfortunately, it is too late to recoup what has been lost healthwise, but at least I wont be getting worse. Anything else? Feel free to ask. I have nothing to hide. Now...what am I looking for? First, if you are just looking for movie dates as I indicated above, that would be fine with me. If you are looking for something a little more than that (occasional physical contact...hows that for a safe way to put it) that is fine also. If we should develop feelings for each other and want something long term then this is what I am in hopes to find. Obviously, someone who can relate to all that I have said so far. Also, I dont cook, so that would be a bonus. I already have menus and shopping lists. By the way...I have OCD, so I am well organized. LOL. Nothing fancy, nothing that would take hours to prepare, and I would be able to help you as well. I also would like to be with someone who is intelligent for 2 reasons. I love to discuss history, science and current events. Also, I am hoping to write a book and would love a co-author to help with that project. Its quite an undertaking and I dont feel up to the task by myself. There are various reasons for that, self esteem IS NOT one of them. Ask if you wish to know more about it. I have an extremely high IQ (and the papers to prove it...lol) and would like someone on my level. I also would hope that you are not shy. This will help me when we are in situations that require mingling. I even have a hard time talking with family members. Oh, by the way...the shyness with you, if we hit it off, would wear off rather quickly. One last thing, which I hesitate to talk about, but should be mentioned before you waste your time with me. Work isnt the only thing I have been doing since the age of 13. In fact it's something I'm quite addicted to. Yes, keep your mind IN the gutter because thats what I'm talking about. (I have a strange sense of humor by the way). This could be the deal breaker, whether we are talking a one-nighter or occasional or long term. It's not nasty (I dont think so anyway), not painfull, not illegal and for those of us who have engaged in it and like it, its addicting. Yet its not for everyone (even though you cant tell me you havent thought about it), and I dont expect everyone to climb on board for the ride. If you're curious, IM me. One last thing. We all have physical preferences, even you women. Mine are quite liberal, even though, of course, I have my dream team in my mind. I only ask that you not be as skinny as a rail, or a BBW (plus-size is okay) and nobody OVER 45. There are of course, exceptions. As I said, any questions...IM me. It is not my desire one bit to change anyone out there, only to find someone who has the same goals and wishes to live the same lifestyle as myself. I ALMOST FORGOT. I mentioned the not jealous above for a reason. If you want to go out and be with friends on occasion, its not a problem for me. In fact I encourage it. I want you to be happy and not feel tied down. Communication is the most important part of any relationship and without it, the relationship will not last. More about all of that if we talk.
