I feel that good relationships, whether friends or more, depend on 5 "C's": Caring, Compromise, Compassion, Consideration, and good, clear, honest Communication.

Without those five, nothing goes anywhere with any degree of success or longevity.

*Updated and revised* Hello my name is Christina, I am a divorced, parent of two birth children one age 34, and one that has passed on. I am also an adopted parent to three wonderful children, one still at home, but starting college in the fall.

My children adopted are of color, so if this is a problem for you..then we will not be a good match because, my children are my life, and I have never looked at another human being differently because of the color of their skin...

I am a (Big Beautiful Woman)at this time giggles, I'm not sure about the beautiful part...but the Big, and woman part I have no doubt about LOL! -wink-

I am getting ready in the months ahead to have the Gastric Bypass weight loss surgery as soon as I win my case, so that I can better enhance, and improve my health, and my life.

So I will need a very strong, caring, and understanding man that can accept me now for the Woman that I am, and be there for me through the stages of this journey and STAND BESIDE me until my goal is reached.

I may have to lean on you to be strong for the both of us at times when I cannot be as I go through this re-birthing of my self.

I like to do many things on the computer such as chatting, working with web designs, pictures, looking at profiles and writing to people even if it's just to tell you Thank You for sharing some of your life with me.

Also since I am a woman YES I like to shop, fix up our home, watch movies with that special person in my life while snuggling, have pizza and movie night on Friday nights. Some of of my favorite shows to watch in the evenings is forensic files, LMN or anything funny. I also like the romance movies as well.

I enjoy writing short stories, and poetry, It has become a passion for me, I think because it comes from deep within where I keep all my feelings locked away from the world...I have two of them published in books.

I am finding the dating scene to be very new, and scary being a single person now for the past 6 years since my divorce...It seems at my age so foreign and very difficult than when we were younger. After all lets face it, we are no longer teenagers, but I will say I am still a kid at heart and have a very young soul.

I am not looking to gain anything from you but what we all have at some point in time taken for granted.....Love........I miss being in love and having someone in love with me, and I am wanting to share this second half of my life, and myself with you...

I'm here to find love, care, passion, romance, friendship, hugs, kisses, snuggles, laughs, pillow fights, everything two people in love share, and live to share with one another....

I am longing for a man that is willing to be my best friend first, and is wanting to find that (One) special person to fall in love with for as long as we both are blessed with a tomorrow...

Too many pay attention to the location factor in finding someone. I feel distance means nothing compared to the odds of just finding someone these days....

Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul.

Without these small tests - whether they are events, illnesses or relationships - life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you experience, create who you are; even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.

Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.

Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself; for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you, either.

You can make of your life anything you wish.

Create your own life and then go out and live it.
