Hello Mortals, for those of you who don't know me already I'm Goblin aka MerlinRavenSong. I'm a Traditional Witch and Occult Metaphysician. I have always considered myself to be a Traditional Witch because I never bought into any of the fluffy bunny goodness and white light "goody two-shoes" propaganda that so many Witches cling to. If your looking for Glenda the good Witch I suggest you move along. When it comes to Witchcraft you have to keep in mind that it's not based on a one size fits all concept. Traditional Witches do not follow the teachings of any bible or religious book they follow nature and its laws. Many Traditional Witches do not worship a deity they see nature as being the great teacher; if we wanted to play follow the leader we would join a church. I believe a Craft is not necessarily a religion it's a CRAFT, a way of working magick for change within the real world. I have a profound respect for nature but I do not worship nature that's a common misconception the church has used against others like myself. Traditional Witches believe the concept of good & evil right & wrong are totally subjective within the world we live in and what once was thought of as being good at one time in history can at another time be considered evil. These concepts of right and wrong are based on Xian concepts and therefore I do not see them as valid. Nature is both kind and cruel you can not separate them. I trace my beliefs back to the legendary Witch of Endor and the ancient sorcerers and conjurers of old.
