myYearbook Lands Digital Media Industry Veteran to Lead Business Development
Focus on Leveraging Virtual Currency and US Distribution to Drive Value for Partners


(NEW HOPE, PA) March 2, 2010 -- myYearbook, the best place to meet new people and one of the 30 most-trafficked sites in the United States, today announced the appointment of Scott Levine as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Reporting to CEO Geoff Cook, Levine will partner with virtual currency sites, application providers, and media companies to advance myYearbook's vision of creating the best place to meet new people. Levine, who most recently led Corporate Development at Sony Music Entertainment as a Senior Vice President, assumes his role with myYearbook effective immediately.

Levine's thirteen years of senior-level experience within the digital media industry plays well into this new growth path for myYearbook. At Sony Music, Levine led new digital business opportunities via content licensing deals, strategic investments, joint ventures and M&A, including the $260mm acquisition of Gracenote, the global leader of audio/video metadata & services. Prior to Sony, Levine was a vice president at General Atlantic, a global private equity firm, where he evaluated growth equity investments across digital media, consumer electronics and telecom sectors. Levine also brings experience from Verance Corporation where he negotiated millions of dollars of technology license agreements with top record labels and movie studios, as well as Liquid Audio, one of the earliest online music players.

Levine holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Levine works in myYearbook's Manhattan office.
