myYearbook Launches iPad App
Hits 500,000 Daily Mobile Users, Up 350% in Last 12 Months

(NEW HOPE, PA) December 19, 2011 — Quepasa Corporation (QPSA : NYSE Amex), the public market leader for social discovery and owner of Latin-American platform Quepasa.com and North-American platform myYearbook, today announced the availability of the myYearbook iPad application on iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myyearbook-meet-new-people/id486934659?ls=1&mt=8. With 350% growth in mobile users in the last 12 months, myYearbook continues its focus on providing the best platform for meeting new people on any device.

"We are happy to be among the first 'Meet New People' applications to launch on the iPad," notes Geoff Cook, myYearbook co-founder, and COO of Quepasa Corporation, the parent company behind myYearbook. "We've just this week reached 500,000 daily mobile users, and we are nearing 200 million mobile sessions per month. Our audience is engaged and enthusiastic about meeting new people, and we believe our iPad app captures the essence of myYearbook — making meeting people fun. It may well be the best way to experience myYearbook on any device."

"A number of our users expect an iPad under the tree this Christmas so it was important for us to get the app out in time," continues Cook. "In fact, three times more users anticipate receiving an iPad this holiday season than already have one, according to a recent survey. We expect a nice holiday bump as a result."

The iPad's larger touch screen, user interface, and multitasking capabilities lets users better manage their profiles and engage with others around them while on-the-go, by updating their status, uploading photos, sending messages and giving virtual gifts. With the new myYearbook app, members can now use their iPad to discover new people nearby with myYearbook's Live Feed of location-based updates, find secret admirers through "Match," and interact and find people with similar interests through "Ask Me."

"We remain 100% focused on building a global brand for meeting new people," notes John Abbott, CEO of Quepasa Corporation. "We look forward to bringing the growing myYearbook mobile platform to a worldwide audience in 2012."

To celebrate myYearbook's iPad launch, the company is giving away an iPad-a-day for the "12 Days of Christmas" to 12 lucky myYearbook members, starting Sunday, December 25, 2011 through Thursday, January 5, 2012.
